September 1999

Dear Friends,

We just got this web site, and we are very excited. Too bad I can not show it to my father. He died ten years ago. My father was very proud to be the first driver of the first car in his little town in Germany. It seems incredible what mankind has technically achieved in the meantime. Now we are even able to communicate with people all over the earth!

We do hope that all this technical advance will bring only blessings to the next century. Fritz and I are very grateful to nearly have reached the year 2000, the dream of our generation, the generation that suffered so much. We are among the few still alive, and we want to use this given time wisely. We don't want to bore with lectures, but maybe we could warn the next generation. We hope that they might learn from our mistakes and maybe also from the good things that we did.

Dear friend, whoever you are, and wherever you are, we wish you

Alles Gute
